DFB (28/05): “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith” (Rom 12:3).

Sometimes when believers learn to walk by faith & experience the power & gifts of the Spirit, they become arrogant & fanatical. That’s not God’s will & wisdom. That doesn’t help our testimony either. Rather, let’s rejoice & confess that we each have God-given faith. Let’s be fervent for God, yet sober-minded, balanced & modest. Let’s be holy yet humble, anointed yet simple & tough yet tender. Amen?
