“Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men” 1 Cor. 1:25.
What a profound statement! Dear friend, let’s face it, sometimes God’s Word goes against the grain of our common sense and conventional wisdom! Pride says we should lean on our own understanding. Faith says we intentionally trust God’s ways regardless of how illogical they may seem to our finite minds. What Word is at odds with your thoughts currently? Will you bow to God’s truth in spite of your feelings and opinions today?
