“By faith Abel…By faith Enoch…By faith Noah…” Heb. 11:4, 5, 7
… Sixteen times in this chapter this phrase occurs. Throughout the history of salvation this rhythm of faith recurs. It means we too must consistently be prompted by faith in all we do. We worship (like Abel), walk with God (like Enoch) or watch for judgment (like Noah) driven by faith. We are not moved by fear, feelings or fame but purely by a resolute trust in Christ. This week resolve to work, walk, worship, wait & watch by faith. Dance only to the rhythm of faith. Hallelujah!
