“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” Phi 2:12.
Dear friend, beware of a false sense of security. Indeed, the Spirit works IN our salvation (Phi 2:13). But we’ve got to work it OUT. No such thing as an undercover Christian! The Word says “with fear & trembling”, not casually or presumptuously. And your Pastor can’t do it for you: it’s “your own salvation”! Accept responsibility for your own spiritual growth. Endeavour to excel as a believer, intentionally, practically & reverently.
