“And Jesus answering saith to them, `Have faith of God” Mark 11:22 (YLT).
This version does more justice to the original text than those that render it “Have faith in God”. Our Lord’s sense is that when we have the God-kind-of-faith, ALL challenges are solvable. Such faith of God comes by hearing God’s Word and responding in obedience just like Abraham did in Genesis 22. It’s not presumption. It’s not wishful thinking. It’s not carnal. But It is firmly rooted in a solid relationship with the living, omnipotent, Elohim, Creator-God. May that be your portion today!
