“…because she judged Him faithful who had promised” (Hebrews 11:11b).
Scripture tells us exactly what drove Sarah’s faith: her conviction that God is faithful to His promises. He’s not a man that He should lie (Num 23:19). Everyone of us has a view about God’s faithfulness. It may be explicit or implicit, but we all do! What’s your conclusion about God’s integrity? The effectiveness of your faith depends on that conviction. Don’t let Satan tamper with it. Don’t bank on your circumstances or personal piety. Trust God to be true to His promises. Because He is!
