“By faith Abraham, when he was tried…” (Hebrews 11:17a).
Every genuine Christian’s faith undergoes testing. Like the father of faith (Abraham), each one of us will have our faith tested. Being a “friend of God” didn’t prevent his spiritual examination. He wasn’t disillusioned by the experience. Neither will you! God’s motive in trying our faith is our improvement & success. But Satan’s motive in tempting us is our destruction.
