“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:7).
It’s the value of gold that necessitates its refinement. It’s the worth of your faith that necessitates its purification through testing. That’s why we mustn’t panic under fire! The awesome outcome is that we will be found “unto praise, and honour and glory” at the Second Coming. The impurities in our golden faith shall vanish. Let that be your portion!
