“Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?” (Mat 13:55).
Those who had the privilege of living in the same country with the Messiah, the Son of God, totally missed their blessing and salvation because of their familiarity. Even He was not able to do great works among these familiar sceptics! Let not your natural acquaintance with church, the sacraments, servants of God and the Scriptures rob you of the tremendous blessing God has in store for you. Always approach the things of God with a sense of freshness, faith, humility, awe and reverence.
