“And recovery of sight to the blind…” (Luke 4:18f).
We know from Jesus’ earthly ministry that this recovery of sight referred to both physical as well as spiritual or metaphorical blindness. For instance, in John 9:41, our Lord explains that those who don’t acknowledge their spiritual blindness shall remain in their sins. Dear friend, today please admit our need for the Saviour’s eye salve. It’s His mission to open the eyes of our hearts to see the marvellous things in His Kingdom. Let the Holy Spirit reveal the blind spots in your walk with Christ. Let Him expose the threats to your spiritual victory and the great opportunities He’s set before you.
