“By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned” (Hebrews 11:29). See also Exodus 14.
In our spiritual journey, the “Red Sea” is a typical example of places with special significance. Whereas in the natural the Red Sea was a formidable marine barrier and a dead end for the Israelites, in God’s plan it was an opportunity to deal with the people’s pursuing enemies decisively! What seemed like the nation’s trap, turned out to be their foes’ cemetery! Unbeknown to them, the hunters became the hunted! When you believe, at your “Red Sea” your disadvantage becomes your awesome advantage. Your worst threat shall be your greatest opportunity in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah!
