“And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness” (Acts 4:31).
Brethren, our prayers are equally potentially earthshaking! Don’t underestimate the power of our united, faithful, anointed prayers. True prayer is not just words, nor is it wishful thinking. Real prayer is a weapon of cataclysmic impact. It impacts our situation and empowers our lives. Walking by faith and not by sight enables us to KNOW that reality. Our approach to prayer betrays our awareness (or lack of awareness) of the seismic effect of prayer. Henceforth, let’s pray knowing that the chains, issues and obstacles around us are shattered to smithereens by our bold, cataclysmic prayers. Hallelujah!
