“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him” 1 John 5:14-15.

Your prayers don’t have to be speculative. They don’t have to be wishful. They don’t have to be tentative. They should be confident and accurate. The key is to pray according to God’s will. Two ways we can be sure we are matching God’s will in our prayers: 1. The Scriptures reveal God’s will. 2. The Holy Spirit knows God’s will. Therefore, always pray scripturally or spiritually, or both–never randomly!
