“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” 2 Cor. 6:14.

Last night we learned that perfecting holiness first involves overcoming the Corinthian habit of mismatching two extremes: belief with unbelief, justice with anarchy, light with darkness. If we’re going to experience the real Presence of our holy God personally and corporately, we must reject Corinthian compromise, contamination and conformity. We mustn’t blend charismatic passion with carnal pleasures. Let’s cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit (2 Cor. 7:1).
