“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).
Beloved in Christ, “freedom” is largely misunderstood today. We don’t have the “right” to be at loggerheads with anyone. Neither do we have the “right” to live as we please. We can’t harbour grudges against certain people and hope to see God now or in eternity. We can’t live unholy lives and still hope to host the Presence. One is horizontal, the other is vertical. One concerns our human relationships. The other concerns our heavenly relationship. Both dimensions are indispensable if we intend to enjoy authentic fellowship with God.
