“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:23-24).
Praise the Lord that we are living “in that day” of guaranteed answers! What day is that? It refers to the era that began on the Day of Pentecost after our Lord’s ascension. The era of speculative prayers is over. The days of unanswered prayers are over. This is the day of the fulness of joy–a joy that comes from assured prayers. Asking the Father in Jesus’ name is identical to when Jesus directly asks the Father. Now, Jesus’ prayers were ALWAYS answered. So will ours!
