Then he said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!” (2 Kings 4:16).
Unlike the poor prophet’s widow, the Shunammite woman was affluent, comfortable and confident. Her investment in the Man of God wasn’t driven by need or pressure but by perception. Her seed provoked an irresistible and incredible harvest. It spoke volumes. It far exceeded all she asked or imagined (Eph. 3:20). May every seed you’ve sown provoke a similarly irresistible, unexpected and unbelievable harvest. May you also experience the joy of receiving miracles you’ve not even requested or imagined!
