“And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh” (Mat 2:11).

Our worship is incomplete as long as it comprises sincere worship with sealed wallets, generous praise with miserly purses. God demands that informed worshipers “shall not appear before the LORD empty” (Deut. 16:16). The Eastern Magi were truly wise men. So can we be, when we open our hearts AND our treasures to the King of kings. Then He will receive our worship and bless our wealth.
