“The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given instructions to the apostles whom He had chosen” (Acts 1:1-2).
This book was addressed to someone called Theophilus, “Friend of God”. We too are friends of God, avid followers of Christ, keen to learn all we can about this ongoing Redemption story. This book has the “inside story” every true disciple of Christ must grasp. It reveals spiritual secrets to the explosive success of the Gospel. It’s designed to be an impetus and an inspiration. It will spur us on to grow and flow in the Spirit as the early church did. Let that be your portion this exciting year of new beginnings and treble favour!
