“He is like a man who built a house, and dug deep…” (Luke 6:48a).

The only problem with many potentially powerful saints is their satisfaction with a meagre piety. Too many settle for mediocrity. So many are content with a shallow spirituality. They are very happy with a superficial faith. They are loath to dig a little deeper in the storehouse of God. I sense the Spirit summoning us to dig deeper this year. We shall penetrate beneath the top layers of God’s love. We shall pierce through the inner dimensions of divine wisdom, power and grace. We shall explore the depths of the glory, revelation and presence of Christ. We shall extend the roots of our encounter, experience and expression in the Spirit. As the dear pants for the water, so our souls long after Him. As new born babies we crave the sincere milk of the Word to grow thereby. We are desperate, hungry and thirsty for His righteousness. Hallelujah! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
