“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19).
We have here two great by-products of genuine repentance. 1st: All our sins are deleted (erased) from heaven’s records, hallelujah! 2nd: Seasons of refreshing become our portion. Beloved, it is your heritage as a child of God to expect & experience regular seasons (kairoi) of restoration and refreshment. Your life isn’t supposed to be a perpetual wilderness. Spiritual dryness and apathy are not your portion! It is your blood-bought right to be led beside still waters and your soul to be restored regularly (Ps 23:2-3). When the chips are down, when life feels hum-drum & pointless and when you’re discouraged, never lose heart. Activate the promise of new seasons of refreshment. Expect your strength to be renewed like that of an eagle. Claim your supernatural reboot by faith. Hallelujah!
