“The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keeps his way preserves his soul” (Pro 16:17).

In our day, being certain about heaven and hell is “politically incorrect”. The very existence of heaven and hell is considered to be mythical hogwash. That wicked lie can quietly permeate our psyche in spite of our protestations to the contrary. Certainly, the Christian life is a DIRECTED life. Every highway is designed to lead somewhere. We have not embarked on some nondescript journey to an unknown destination. We have no confusion about where we are heading. Our highway is specially paved to take us to the Father’s House (John 14:2, 6). That’s why we must often consciously reaffirm our faith in Jesus’ promise to take us to the awesome place He’s preparing for us. “My mind is made up. My heart is fixed. I’m going with Jesus all the way!”
