“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom 10:9).
One little known key to spiritual growth is affirming with our mouths what we believe in our hearts. The Scriptures highlight this principle quite frequently. You see, confession is the supernatural means of releasing your faith and activating your miracle. Death and life are in the power of your tongue (Pro 18:21). Applied to the area of spiritual growth, this means that if you don’t give voice to your desire to grow, it won’t become a reality! Don’t just think about growth–say it frequently. Say, “I decree and declare by faith in Jesus’ name that I’m growing and flowing in the Spirit”. When someone asks how you are, don’t just say “fine”. Always say something Word-based. Use every opportunity to create the reality God has destined you for by means of your miracle-birthing tool–your mouth. Intentionally practise confessing what God’s Word says about your New Creation identity. Begin today!
