“Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live” (Ez 37:9).

By definition, the act of prophecy is about being God’s mouthpiece. It’s all about finite, fallible humans transmitting God’s infinite, infallible word. Our ordinariness does not limit God’s omnipotence. Often that’s what our prayers & intercession are all about–prophesying God’s life, light & love over our dryness, dearth, and death. Like Ezekiel, we decree and declare God’s living word over our chaos, disorder and discord by faith. We don’t grumble about our issues, we prophesy! We don’t moan about our situations, we prophesy! That’s how a prophetic church live. That’s our calling. Today.
