“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (Mat 22:37).

It’s perfectly logical to love and trust God unreservedly. Why? First, He knows best (Ps 139). Our knowledge is finite, God’s is infinite. Second, He loves you (1 John 3:1). God has your best interests at heart. Third, He made you in His image (Gen. 1:26). You’re most fulfilled and effective when you trust the One whose identity you share. Fourth, His way is the safest (Ps 91:1-3). God protects and delivers those who trust Him from all the snares along the way. Fifth, He knows you (Je. 29:11). God fully knows your limits and your potential. Sixth, He holds the future (Rev 22:13). God knows the pitfalls and opportunities ahead, the end from the beginning. Seventh, His judgment is final (He. 12:23). Nothing else will matter when the Righteous Judge sums up human history in the End. Eighth, He empowers those who trust Him (Ps 40:31). It pays to trust Him!
