“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned” (Jo 15:6).
Not abiding in Christ is not an option! Neither is it a light matter. The dire consequences are starkly clear. Firstly, failure to abide in Christ results in expulsion. This is quite sobering beloved! We risk expulsion from Kingdom blessings if we neglect our duty to abide in the Vine. Secondly, withering follows. Beloved, no genuine Christian’s life should be dry. As long as you abide in Him, spiritual dryness shall not be your portion! Thirdly, failure to abide results in judgment (burning by fire). Beloved, it pays to also consider the negative results of failure to abide in Him. As you abide in Him, dryness and judgment shall not be your portion!
