“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned” (Isa 50:4).

All God’s children in the New Covenant qualify to also have the kind of anointing that enabled Isaiah to constantly bring a word in season to the weary. All around us are people needing a word of encouragement, exhortation and comfort. Our lips must no longer be prophets of doom and tormentors of the brethren. Our tongues shall be a blessing rather than a burden to someone this week. We are all also eligible for the anointing that enables our hearing to be receptive and accurate. Your spiritual ears shall overlook unnecessary stuff and discern the real heart cry of our friends and family, beyond their superficial words. Embrace this promise by faith today. Praise God for competent, constructive speech and accurate hearing.
