“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (1 Cor. 15:10).

The difference between champions and others is consistency. Spiritual champions do daily what ordinary people do rarely, such as regularly confessing the work of divine grace in their lives. Like the apostle in our text, we must continually confess the identity and ability we have through God’s grace. Today specifically acknowledge that the grace of God at work within you is not in vain, futile or irrelevant. It is accomplishing great things in and through you. That grace translates into power, strength and wisdom for every assignment God has destined you for. It produces the character and the charisma of Christ in and through you. It’s not misfortune that’s at work in your life; it’s divine favour! It’s not good luck either; it’s God’s love. It’s not your genius that’s excelling; it’s divine grace. Say it loud; say it clearly; say it often.
