“And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred” (Mar 4:20).
The believer’s heart can be viewed as the ground in which the seed of the Word can be sown. The point of the Parable of the Sower revolves around the quality of the soil. There’s no question about the seed (Word) quality, but the readiness of the ground of our hearts can be questionable. God’s Word is powerful enough to make a difference in anybody’s life. Every seed is by nature designed to produce after its own kind. Thus every word that proceeds from the mouth of God must produce corresponding fruit in one’s life.
For instance, healing word-seed produces the fruit of healing. When the soil of your heart is fertile and receptive to the heavenly seed, the Word will bear much fruit–thirtyfold, sixtyfold or a hundredfold. Let your life produce abundant fruit from every seed-word that has been planted in the soil of your soul!
