‘For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” (Mat 9:21).
The difference between receiving one’s miracle, breakthrough or turnaround and not receiving is often just one word: expectation. We must come to church expecting to meet Christ, as He promises in Matthew 18:20. We must ask expecting to be answered (Mat 7:7). We must approach God expecting to please Him by faith (Heb 11:6). Like the woman in our text, we must watch our self talk. We shouldn’t talk ourselves out of our miracles! That’s exactly what negative, doubtful and careless talk will do.
Why don’t we learn to say, If I only get to church, I’ll experience favour. As soon as my Pastor prays for me, I’ll be whole. Once I sow my seed, my harvest will be initiated. Expectation is the breeding ground for miracles. Expect something good from the Lord today!
