Revelation 1:17
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Men don’t fall flat on their faces in worship when they encounter religious platitudes, theological dogmas, heretical fanaticism or dead rituals. It takes an encounter with the risen, reigning and glorious Christ, the Alpha and the Omega, for us to reverence His name in honest, humble and hallowed adoration. Ask Saul of Tarsus! Such a revelation will cure us of our religious games, gimmicks and drama. (See Ezek 1:28; 3:23; Dan 10:9, 15–19; Ac 9:3).
