I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
To believers, such as the Apostle John and the early church, facing real trials and tribulations, this verse was music to their ears. It was truly reassuring. So it should to us in our own situations today. The presence, power and vitality of Christ must pulsate through our veins, visions, worship and work in spite of the challenges arrayed against us. Christ’s glory shall manifest among us. Don’t settle for dead rituals, gimmicks or imitations. Jesus is alive!
