But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.
In these perilous times, valuing our physical, social and financial security without sparing a thought for our spiritual safety is simply reckless, if not irresponsible. So is being totally unaware of the real threats to our spiritual security posed by religious imposters, demonic doctrines and deceiving spirits. Given that our inner man will live on after the demise of our earthen vessels, prioritising the preservation of one’s spirit should be paramount. (See also Mat. 7:15-21; 2 Cor. 4:7; 1 Tim 4:1).
