Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.”
Notably, Moses’ passionate plea for the presence of God came AFTER Yahweh had assured him of His accompaniment (Ex 33:14). In our day and age, it’s amazing how content we are to forge ahead on our own. Although Christ promises to be with us till the end of the age, it’s quite another matter to experience the His manifest presence among us (Mat 28:20). We should practice His presence. We must be hungry, thirsty and desperate for the manifest presence of Christ in our daily lives, services and ministry.
