Revelation 2:20
Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

Sometimes our problem is not what we commit but what we permit. To permit is to allow, authorise or give an opportunity. Beloved, we must not give the devil or his agents an opportunity or platform to operate among us. For instance, we must not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh (Gal 5:13). Good Christians have godly values, high standards and clear boundaries. In our personal and leadership capacities, let us guard our spiritual welfare and that of those under our care jealously. Because, in a sense, to permit is to commit, to allow is to do and silence speaks volumes!
