Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
It’s quite easy for earnest believers to get overly frustrated by the actions of those who bring our Christian witness into disrepute and mislead innocent souls. Although we should neither permit nor promote heresy in our midst, ultimately it’s not our place to deal with persistent sinners. When we’ve done what we can, let us rest assured that the most just and omniscient Judge will take care of the rest. That takes a load off our shoulders, freeing us to serve in faith, hope and love.
