Revelation 2:23b
And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
Firstly God’s reward system is comprehensive. No genuine worker misses out. Our labour is not in vain. Secondly, We are rewarded according to our productivity (works, or erga in Greek). We are not credited for our knowledge. We’re not rewarded for our intentions and ambitions either. Neither are we remunerated for our platitudes and slogans. We’re not paid for our longevity. Only for our production–only for what we actually deliver in the Kingdom’s economy. That’s what counts. Let’s audit our works today brethren!
