Ephesians 4:14
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.
Five things characterise the life of an equipped believer. Firstly, he/she is no longer a spiritual child. Childhood naivety vanishes. Secondly, such a saint is not tossed to and fro. It’s not your portion to blow hot and cold, high and low, back and forth. Thirdly, such a believer isn’t carried about by all sorts of popular teachings. Don’t embrace an idea just because it’s popular. Fourthly, he/she is not impressed by human gimmicks. Fifthly, such a saint is immune to all satanic craftiness. Let that be your portion.
