Revelation 2:27
And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Don’t you wish you could do something about the crime, wars, atrocities, exploitation, corruption, suffering and injustice perpetrated by various evil groups across the globe? Often believers feel powerless, hopeless and helpless in the face of our world’s endless tragedies. Yet Jesus assures us that we shall be able to make a difference. Current world events testify that no one nation or international organisation is capable of decisively dealing with our world’s numerous hotspots. That doesn’t happen without divine authority, exactly what “ruling with a rod of iron” symbolises. The saints of God shall once again have the full dominion, power and authority God always intended. We are not wimps! All that has already begun under the Gospel dispensation. It shall fully manifest in the eschaton. I can’t wait!
