Revelation 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

This verse continues the train of thought from the previous, where the victorious remnant are rewarded by walking with Christ in white. The glorious robes of righteousness we lost at the Fall are restored at the eschaton. We will share the glory of Christ! Furthermore, our names will not be deleted from the Book of Life. That means our place in heaven is assured. The converse of this is quite scary: it’s possible for believers’ names to be blotted out of the Book of Life–contrary to common eternal security theology. Beloved, let us beware of a false sense of security.
