Isaiah 29:15
Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?
Although we know in principle that God is omniscient, our conduct often suggests otherwise. The very quest to hide our schemes from God belies our knowledge of His unlimited sight. The very wish to shroud our works in darkness denies the ubiquity of His light. The very act of questioning the visibility of our actions betrays our blindness. The very thought of doubting His knowledge of us betrays our ignorance. We must cast down the false images of God in our minds. Let us live in the light of God’s thorough cognisance of all our ways, motives and works.
