Revelation 5:1
Then I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
Another complication about the scroll of humanity’s destiny located in heaven concerns the fact that it is sealed–and not once but sevenfold. That means it’s perfectly locked.
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase” (Dan 12:4).
Note that it was deliberately locked until the time of the end. What happens when the “time of the end” arrives and nobody can unlock the book? That means the injustices in our world would continue unabated. The devil would continue to steal, kill and destroy. Human history would repeat itself tragically forever. Wars, cosmic disasters, diseases, poverty, exploitation and inequality would persist indefinitely. Evil spirits would deceive, oppress and bind humanity incessantly.
Praise God for the Lamb of God, the Lion of Judah, who qualifies to unlock the final chapter of our destiny and put a stop to this vicious cycle!
