Although the narrow path to glory is indeed relatively less-trodden (Mat 7:14), yet we are in great company still. Besides the myriads of angelic hosts, according to our text today, millions of our fellow humans in this world shall enter the Kingdom.
You and I must overcome the satanic illusion of total isolation. We have not been abandoned, forsaken or marooned in a weird world. We are not outnumbered, forgotten or abandoned. In fact, only a fraction of angels rebelled. They that are with us are more than they that are against us (2 Kin 6:16)!
Remember how Elijah was under the mistaken notion that only he was left among Yahweh’s loyal prophets and believers (1 Kin 19:10, 14)? Yet the Lord assured the lonely prophet that He had reserved seven thousand other faithful followers, who totally shunned idolatry (1 Kin 19:18). May that be your portion too.
Let us overcome the satanic illusion of isolation, desertion or seclusion that afflicts many today. May your eyes be opened to see the vast resources of heaven on your side today!
