Revelation 5:13
And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honour and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

As we move through the second vision of Revelation’s 15 visions (chapters 4-6), we cannot miss the growing number of participants in the heavenly liturgy. It starts off with just the four living creatures rendering worship to God (Rev 4:8), followed by the twenty four elders (Rev 4:11), then by a combination of the first two groups (Rev 5:9-10).

Then the myriads of angels join in (Rev 5:12), before every creature in heaven, earth and under the earth joins the crescendo of worship unto the Father and the Lamb (Rev 5:13). At that point we have complete participation in Kingdom worship.

My dear friend, there are no mere spectators in God’s economy (see Ex 33:10; Neh 8:6; Ps 67:3; Ps 69:34). There are no neutral observers before the Throne of grace. Nobody must lag behind in the praise race. No one is excused from seeking the Lord’s face.
