Revelation 6:1
Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come!”
We don’t know how close we are to the point when the Lamb will break the first Seal and the lion-like living creature orders the first horseman to come forth. All indications are that the end of the Church Age is very near indeed.
At any rate, our understanding is that this “summons” will take place just after the Rapture. In that case, you and I must not wait to see it happen while we are here on earth. For that would mean we have been left behind!
I would rather observe the terrible series of judgments of the Tribulation Period from the safety of heaven’s balcony. But that depends on a faithful walk before the Lord now.
I am amazed by the amount of hate, compromise and playfulness among today’s believers. I’m appalled by the level of presumption, naivety and cheap grace prevalent among many Christians in our day. What makes us think we can live, talk, think and fight each other like sinners and still escape the Great Tribulation? That’s a risk I would rather not take. Let us live as though He comes today!
