2 Thessalonians 2:5
Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things?
We must not take the problem of spiritual memory loss lightly, beloved! Why is it that we remember all sorts of trivial data but forget eternal truths? That shall not be your portion.
Today, in the mighty name of Jesus, I pray that none of my flock will ever forget the vital truths that will save our souls in these perilous times. I decree and declare in Jesus’ mighty name, that you shall always remember what the Lord has done for you (Ps 103:2).
When temptation rears its ugly head, remember the price Jesus paid for your redemption (Deut. 15:15). When the lure of the world is too strong, remember Lot’s wife (Luke 17:32). When the enemy comes in like a flood, remember that the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him (Isa 59:19).
Whatever you go through, remember Jesus is Lord of all. Your heart shall recall the right word for every season you face in these last days. Your memory is sharp and you shall not be deceived!
