Revelation 14:1
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.

This scene is in obvious contrast to the beast of the previous chapter, whose followers are stamped with his mark (666) on the right hand or forehead. Here the redeemed of the Lord bear God’s name on their foreheads, unlike the unbelieving world which carries the name or number of the Satanic beast.

Beloved, when judgment comes, there will be no room for confusion because people will have declared their master by their “mark”. The destiny of every person is determined by the mark that person bears.

Remember the Lord’s earlier promise to victorious believers: “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name” (Rev 3:12).

That is the joy of trusting in Christ through thick and thin. That’s the reward of abiding in the Vine come what may. Such is the reward of being faithful to the end. God’s stamp of approval and seal of ownership marks you out for His City and eternity. Hallelujah!
