Acts 2:18
Even upon my servants, men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

The Word of God demands that all servants of God, both male and female, must be drenched in the Holy Spirit. We must only minister from the fulness. Yet today we have so many believers who are quite happy to serve God on the basis of only a touch, taste or trace of the Spirit.

It’s dangerous to minister after only a brush with the Spirit! Rushing to serve and “prophesy” from an empty tank creates confusion and presumption. Spiritually dry servants present equally dry ministry. The flesh then takes centre stage, psychology then replaces Pentecost and gimmicks replace the anointing. Lord have mercy!

Rather we should only serve God from a position of saturation. Only truly Spirit-soaked saints should minister for the Lord in any capacity (see Acts 1:8). No more dry or damp service! The greater our fulness, the less of the flesh we exude. Let us reject spiritual dryness. Let us seek to be thoroughly bathed in the anointing.
