1 Peter 1:18-19
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

Beloved, when Satan tempts you to doubt whether Christ is able to keep you from falling, bid Satan look at the Cross. Indeed, He who laid down His life to save us is well able to keep us from stumbling and to present us before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy (Jude 1:24).

Let us not kid ourselves that we are still standing because of our own ability. Rather, our salvation and survival are dependent on Jesus’ love and grace. He says, “All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day” (John 6:37, 39).

Nobody invests heavily in a venture just to pour money down the drain! What we invest in, we value. What we value, we keep! What Jesus paid for, He will surely keep. What He paid dearly for, He will not easily lose. We are His valued assets, the apple of His eye and the love of His life. He is able to save us to the uttermost, as He ever lives to intercede for us (Heb. 7:25). Rejoice, He holds your future and life is worth living!
