Mark 11:24
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

There is a danger every earnest Christian must beware of. It concerns how to behave after desperately making our requests known unto the Lord.

Here our Lord teaches that when we pray in faith we must believe we receive before we experience the manifestation of our answer. Ask we must, but we must come to a point when we express our reception by faith. Now, biblically faith is expressed by means of confession. That is, we boldly declare what God’s Word says about our situation, not by sight but by faith.

Therefore, having asked the Heavenly Father to help you to know Christ and the power of His resurrection, here is what you and I can confess based on Phi 3:10, 4:13, Colossians 1:9-14, Ephesians 1:17-20; 3:16, 20; 6:10:

The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, has given to me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him and the eyes of my understanding have been enlightened.

Now I know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His resurrection power in us who believe.

I am filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I am walking worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

I am strengthened with all might in the inner man, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long-suffering with joy.

I give thanks to the Father who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light, delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed me into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom I have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins.

I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I have put on the whole armour of God, that I may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, and having done all, to stand.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I can ask or imagine, according to His power at work within me. In Jesus’ name, hallelujah!
